If your church associates with a group of churches that requires exclusive allegiance to itself, you are part of a sect. Despite their boastful claims, sects do not understand the New Testament doctrine of the Church. They are in error. All sects are based on half-truths, faulty reasoning, doctrinal oddities, deceptions, guilt-manipulation, and fear, which are not of the Spirit of truth and liberty. If your church denies you your Spirit-given right and privilege to fellowship with all Christ-loving, bible-loving Christians and churches, you need to obey God rather than man and free yourself and family from these unbiblical chains.

Continuing to search for a church home after relocating across the state has been challenging to say the least.
Last Sunday we visited a church whose communion was open to members of their church only, AND in order to become a member of their church, one must be baptized in that church. Perhaps this would qualify as a "cult."
Needless to say, our search is ongoing.

So which denomination knows Jesus better than the other? I go to a Baptist church surrounded by Charismatic women who claim all those not attending "their church" are not saved......and interestingly, that includes me as well, for I have not followed their priests and pastors of health, wealth and prosperity, nor the lying signs and wonders wolves.
Guess I'll just have to bear the burden of being labeled as "unsaved" by these Baptist goers. Jesus knows who are His.
