We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Yep, It's Time for Another Agglomeration!

When Christians tolerate anything and everybody, you cannot guard the flock against wolves

Was Adam Historical (And Does It Really Matter)?

Lengthy, but very interesting study dating creation and Noah’s flood.

Timothy Keller: Turning Believers Into Unbelievers?

Andy Stanley just gets worse and worse.  And he keeps affirming homosexuality!

A friend asked me to find out what I could about Peggy Joyce Ruth. So I googled her name, appending the tag “false teacher.” THIS is the first thing I found, making it unnecessary to go any farther to know this woman is bad news.

Celebrity Super Pastors Praising Themselves. See how many false teachers you see. What a bunch of narcissistic, arrogant blasphemers of God. If you have the time, watch the whole 45 minutes and write out the names of each of these embarrassments to the real Church. It is almost unbelievable that they say such things.

This foolish Pope is who the Catholics look to for leadership?!? He has totally bought into the “climate change” lie.

Michael Georges Jr. is in NO way a “pastor”—he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The Gospel Coalition long ago went of the deep end, but this just makes the hole deeper.

Confused Christians.  The first part of this article is what’s important; the rest has to do with politics.

The National Cathedral in Washington, DC, is an Episcopal Church, so it doesn’t surprise me when they decide to virtually worship the fraudulent organization “Black Lives Matter.” Absolutely disgusting.

A perfect example as to what a MESS The Message Bible is.

Bethel’s Kris Vallotton teaches falsely every time he opens his mouth.

And, finally, the Babylon Bee cracked me up with this “news” about Catholics and “saints.”

Be a Light Without Fear

My fellow brothers and sisters, we need to get over our fear of being called bigots, intolerant, or racists, and make it perfectly clear to both church and society that no Christian can truly follow Christ and endorse self-harm (as in gender reassignment surgery) and same-sex relationships. We cannot show a godly love for our neighbor if our silence is interpreted as submission to Satan's objective of destroying God's temple. Let me repeat, it is better to be accused of being harsh than it is to tell lies with hushed tons of compassion, love, care, and thoughtfulness.

When the Gospel Becomes Hostage to "Tolerance"

The empty churches of Europe testify to what happens when the clear gospel witness becomes beholden to political correctness, submission to culture, and a willingness to unite with other religions under the banner of tolerance and love.

Tolerance Causes Truth to Suffer

In the world of modern evangelicalism, it is allowable to advocate the most unconventional, unbiblical doctrines—as long as you afford everyone else the same privilege.  About the only thing that is taboo nowadays is the intolerance of those who dare to point out others’ errors.  Anyone today who is bold enough to suggest that someone else’s ideas or doctrines are unsound or unbiblical is dismissed at once as contentious, divisive, unloving, or unchristian.  It is all right to espouse any view you wish, but it is not all right to criticize another person’s views—no matter how patently unbiblical those view may be.  When tolerance is valued over truth, the cause of truth always suffers.

TOLERANCE?

The photo below is a card tract from PinPoint Evangelism.
I like this tract in that this front side is an attention-getter using a current design used by the same people who brought us the “Coexist” and “Respect” memes, all using religious and science symbology for the letters.  The back side has some good teachings, which I will share with you here.  Bear in mind that there are no paragraphs on the card, but for ease of reading here I will format to paragraphs while leaving the rest of the format and fonts as they have them on the card (except I can’t put the 2 up as squared).

==========
The word spelled out on the front is “Tolerance.”  It is a variation on the “Coexist” design and includes (from left to right) a Christian cross, a peace sign, a Native American Indian pipe, thte male and female symbols, a Kokopelli, a Jewish Star, a Baha’i 9 Pointed Star, an Islamic Crescent/Star and Einstein’s formula e=mc2.

Can’t we all just get along?  Can’t we just stop fighting and be tolerant of each other? Isn’t that what Jesus was all about… TOLERANCE?  Actually, no, that wasn’t what Jesus was all about.

In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE.  No one comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”  That sounds pretty intolerant and politically incorrect, doesn’t it?

In Matthew 7:7:13-14, Jesus said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”  Few on the way to Life and Many on the way to Destruction?  That doesn’t sound like a “tolerant Jesus,” does it?

In Revelation 21:8, Jesus said, “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”  Jesus sounds REALLY intolerant in that verse!

God doesn’t tolerate sin or sinners!  God is willing to forgive sinners because of what Jesus did on the cross though.  Christ died for you, shedding His precious blood that you might have forgiveness of sins.  Turn from your sins (repent), Trust in Jesus Christ and begin Obeying/Following Him!  He will forgive you of your sins, pardon you of your punishment and empower you to live Holy!
