More Wolves and False Teachings

Are these wolves in your church? Most churches have at least one or two of them.

James MacDonald abused his position to enrich himself, as well as abusing people around him.  And so did others.

Another example as to why Thabiti Anyabwile is a wolf. He continues to prove he is a racist and not a pastor.  He also demonstrates unbiblical ideology with his teaching of generational sin.

This Pope is more and more the appearance of an anti-Christ.

Farewell Francis Chan. And yet he defends the indefensible.  A good summation of his apostatizing. Beth Moore and a “Christian” LGBTQXYZ activist are now defending Chan!

Albert Mohler used to be a really good teacher, but over the past few years he seems to be disintegrating into LEFTISM.  He needs to be avoided as he apostatizes into a wolf.

The false gospel of the evangelical reparations movement. Just another LEFTIST “social justice” lie. I wonder why they don’t demand “reparations” from the black Africans who sold them into slavery. Think about it, though; no one living for the past few decades had any immediate family who were slaves or slave owners. How far back should we go to punish any wrong-doing?  And what about the “white” people who never had slaves (the vast majority) and who even fought a war which freed them: why should those families be liable for slavery?  And why should I feel guilty?

So a woman working for a Catholic institution is surprised when they hold her to their moral standards? Then she makes the asinine comparison of sexual immorality with birth control. Unbelievers want to work in Christian (or quasi-Christian) organizations, yet are continually complaining about the moral requirements. Perhaps they should stick with working for unbelievers.

This Catholic archbishop says he’d rather go to prison than report child abuse heard in confession.  This is more proof of the ungodly nature of the Papist church.  NOWHERE in the Bible will you find the need to confess our sins to a priest (James says confess to each other), nor will you find that anything criminal which is confessed is to be withheld from law enforcement. This man would rather leave a child in an abusive situation leading even to death than to violate unbiblical Papist dogma.

Word of Faith heretics — these people do not meet the definition of true Christians, for they worship another Christ and another god (themselves).

Did They Really Say That?!?

People have even argued about whether God is male or female.  But the Bible itself tells us that He’s both!  That’s right.  In the Hebrew language, all words have gender. They’re either male or female. But the Hebrew word Jehovah is both masculine and feminine. He’s as much female as He is male and as much male as He is female.

Originally mankind was that way too.  When God first made “man,” he was as much female as he was male.  Then God separated the female part out and made “wo-man,” or “the man with the womb.”  After that, man and woman had to come together to be perfectly whole.

I don’t know Hebrew, and I’ll bet my bottom dollar the Copelands don’t know it either.  But here’s what I DO know:  

*Gender in language is not the same as gender in people.  Language gender may or may not directly refer to the same gender human—leastways that’s what happens in English.

*“Jehovah” is not a Hebrew word; it is a Germanic transliteration of YHWH.  My guess is the Hebrew is not “masculine and feminine,” rather it is probably neuter.

*God is neither male nor female—He is spirit.  He uses masculine terms for Himself by way of analogy as being a Father to mankind, a husband to his people (the bride), etc.

*Man was NEVER part female.  God did not take the “female part” out of Adam, rather he took a part of Adam to make a woman as a lesson to him about who and what she was. 

*“Woman” does NOT mean “the man with the womb.”  This is about fallacious as it gets.  The pun only works in English (i.e. “womb-man”)—if you can call it a pun.  Copeland just made that up out of whole cloth.

*Adam was not then remade “whole” by the woman— An unmarried man would be, by the Copeland’s claim, an “un-whole” person!

*Lastly, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland are rank heretics who have no clue about the true Gospel, and are unsaved people who are leading their followers into spiritual dangers of every sort.

Random Things Needing Discernment

Lots of things in the news this past couple weeks which need to have warnings about.  Hold on to your hats!

Steven Furtick, narcissist.  Real Christians should avoid him like the plague while he can feed his goats all day long.

Perry Noble is being revived with the help of another false teacher, Steven Furtick.  Wolves run in packs.  (I hate to bust Noble’s bubble, but “alcoholism” isn’t a disease.  It’s a lack of self control.)

The World Race and Adventures in Missions has connections to IHOP — go figure!

Pastor Gabe examines another “contemporary Christian” song, “Above All”, demonstrating problems with the lyrics.  We’ve sung this in the past at our former church, prior to me examining songs on my blog.  I agree with Pastor Gab, and never really liked it.

“Christian astrology” is just as much of an oxymoron as is “Christian psychology.”  Scattered Sheep has an excellent article explaining problems with the idea of the gospel in the zodiac, and the false teachings of the “soothsayers of the Second Advent.”

The New Apostolic Reformation is getting nuttier by the day.  Another example of their nuttiness is this “prophecy.”

For those who haven’t been around enough to know about heretic Jim Bakker, this should give you a good laugh — he spent time binding demons in hell so Trump would win the presidency!

Random Aberrations, Apostasies, and Heresies

I've been busy with a book review project so I’ve been posting quotations more than I normally do, rather than actually write up something.  However, I wonder how many of my usual readers saw the new saying under the Tozer quote?  It’s actually a paraphrase I made of something a detective said on a show we say.  His subject was about reading people for clues, but I thought it made a good foundation for a similar statement about learning discernment.

Roman Catholics are really having a difficult time with the latest SCOTUS fiat legalizing fake marriage.  You’d think with Catholics it would be a “no-brainer” that homosexual behavior is wrong and therefore same-sex fake marriage would also be wrong.  (Of course you’d also think that of any Christian).  But what do we get?  A Catholic university in San Francisco celebrated the ruling.  Of course then you have another Catholic university standing by their theology chairman after he “married” an Anglican youth minister!  Where is the local bishop to excommunicate these people?  Why are they allowed to carry the Catholic name?  Unlike Christians, who have no earthly head, Roman Catholicism has the Pope, and he seems to allow this sort of thing all the time — at least you never hear of this stuff being condemned.

Matthew Vines, the very pro-homosexual false teacher who claims the Bible doesn’t teach against homosexuality, has been on the receiving end of a lot of responses to his claims.  A fellow blogger actually had an on-line discussion with him, demonstrating the problems with his false teachings.  Several top scholars have also responded to Vines’ “40 questions for Christians who oppose marriage equality.” [link gone by 7/14/18] I selected two responses to help Christians who have similar questions posed to them.  The first is by James White, and the second is by Douglas Wilson.  Each gives an interesting perspective.

Pastor Don Green will be speaking at an upcoming conference about homosexuality.  It is important that churches address this issue from the pulpit because so many Christians have succumbed to the lie that “love” makes homosexuality acceptable.  The “Christian” homosexual movement is much like a cult, and therefore needs to be examined and exposed like any other cult so as to protect the uninformed.  It’s really sad that we have to address such a disgusting topic, but it is invading the church at a phenomenal rate, and the true church will be persecuted because of our stand against it.

As an example of how desensitized Christians and their leaders have become, watch this video with Andy Stanley telling a story about an issue in his mega-church.  Notice that he doesn’t have a problem with a man being homosexual and holding down a ministry in his assembly, rather his problem was that the man was having an affair with the husband of a woman!  The homosexual couple was permitted to continue attending his assembly even though they were still unrepentant and active in their homosexual union!

Oh, darn!  I missed out on attending Gloria Copeland’s healing school on the 4th. Just think, if I attended her school I would be able to go around healing people the way Benny Hinn does.  (snark)

Steven Furtick is another blight on the name of Christ who preached at Hillsong this past spring . This guy pretends to be a pastor but he seems more of a narcissist.  Remember, this is the guy who calls those of us who expose him, “haters.”  This “sermon,”  [link gone by 3/6/16] which is at his own church, has Furtick claiming he is anointed.  He continues to point out that “Christ” means “anointed” and therefore all of us who are Christians are “anointed.”  It reminds me Benny Hinn who did the same with the word “Messiah,” and that we are all little messiahs.  Then he proceeds to teach about self-affirmation, sounding much like Joel Osteen!  I wonder how long it will be before he becomes full-blown Word of Faith.  See how many of these quotes sound like WOF or Joel Osteen stuff.

Rick Warren continues to show his true apostate colors.  He will be co-speaking with a Catholic Cardinal at the Pope’s “World Meeting of Families” in September. 

Mark Driscoll continues to demonstrate why is not qualified to be a pastor.  He has publicly repented for criticizing Joel Osteen’s teachings.  So I guess that means everyone else who continues to point out the heretical nature of Osteen’s teachings are going to be condemned by Driscoll?
