The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Davenport, IA, has a woman “reverend” who “married” two lesbians. Apparently the Disciples of Christ denomination is getting more and more liberal while walking away from the truth of Scripture

Oh boy, oh joy! Another visit to heaven, this time by false teacher Rick Joyner.
I’ve previously mentioned a new movie titled, “Holy Ghost,” and how it appeared to be unbiblical. Well, I’m not disappointed in that initial belief — the movie is by heretic Bill Johnson and his Bethel Church! You just know it has to be unbiblical with that starting point.
Gary Gilley has a good review of a new book which challenges teachings by Tim Keller. For all the good teachings Keller might have, I think this book would demonstrate why we should not recommend anything by Keller.

Hi Glenn,
The article from the woman whose husband is HRM was really good. The Lord has given her so much grace to endure being married to someone deeply entrenched in Galatianism, and yet she is living in the true freedom of the New Covenant.
Didn't know the Mormons had such violence in their history. I bet they don't bring that up when they go door to door...
Glad you liked Janet Mefferd's article! I think she summed it up brilliantly. How much more evidence do we need on MD? None. It's all been laid out in the open, let those with eyes/ears see/hear.
The Holy Ghost movie - yet another blasphemy.
If I have time and remember, I'll have to look at Gilley's review.
Hope you had a great vacation!

Carolyn,
Mountain meadows was just the end result of the teaching of Blood Atonement. There was a lot of violence in the LDS past. They often claim it was defensive, and once in a blue moon it was, but they were almost always the aggressors.
I grew up in the Disciples of Christ church and was there for 10 years as an adult. Then I became a Christian and left. I'm sad to say that my parents are still involved with that apostate group.
