Andy Stanley continues to prove what a false teacher he has become. He fails to understand that the faith developed BECAUSE of the Bible — the Old Testament. The Bible was assembled in portions in the FIRST century. WE, that is everyone who has lived since the 1st century, DID learn about the resurrection via the Bible. The gospels WERE the Bible for those in the 1st Century.

Tony Evans began to teach other strange things, like two-tier salvation (the idea that there are average believers who are saved, vs, the super-believers who are "overcomers"), based on a poor exegesis of Revelation. That was in some SS program of his. Also, his daughter Priscilla Shirer needs to stop disobeying God with her false teachings and preaching to men.
Sadly, I'm noticing more issues in the church, even among those who used to have good discernment. Some who used to have excellent discernment have been swayed into the social justice department, while others with good discernment are now tending toward legalism. So I've knocked off a few more blogs from my reading list.
