We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

Hate!?!

May I just point out that exposing false teachings is not hate for the people who are trapped in them. The hate is for the false teachings which burden the people and prevent them from knowing true salvation.

Hi Glenn, I would guess that anyone who has ever pursued any type of apologetics work, discernment ministry efforts, or perhaps even expository Bible teaching has had the “hate” charge thrown at them; this is a fiery dart from Satan, to be brushed off by God’s servants. As you say, the abhorrence is for error, and the condemnation is for those who promote it. I encourage you to keep up the good work for truth in God’s service against such evil influences, ever mindful of 2 Tim. 2:24-26.

It's our friend Feo who is accusing me of hate but he never looks in the mirror about all the hate he spews.

Glenn, if you awaken to your hateful speech and unchristian judgment and give it up, it will mean you’ve resisted 16th century religious hatred that slaughtered a few million European Christians and a few hundred American christians. Among others, Roman Catholic Italians were lunched in New Orleans in 1891.

And if you give that up and turn toward the Holy Spirit who indwells and sanctifies all christians, then there will be no need for me in christian reproof to point out your hate and anger.

Which feels hateful to you but that’s just you’re allergy to clarity and honesty.

It's not so much that feo and/or his master at the Blog of Lies accuses us of hatred, but that they do so without any explanation of how that charge is in any way true...which is kinda hateful. But they "embrace grace" far differently that we do...assuming that expression has any true meaning.

Feo,
Speech examining teachings and exposing that which is unbiblical is not hateful. But I’ve looked at your blog and it is full of hateful writings, anger at everyone who disagrees and who won’t debate with you. I don’t debate with people who I don’t foresee changing their beliefs and I don’t debate politics on line. My judgment is not unChristian and I have no religious hatred for anyone. Disagreeing is not hatred.

As for millions slaughtered, so-called Christians (Papists) slaughtered millions of Christians who disagreed them and well as millions of Jews just because they were Jews.

I have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit regardless of what your religion believes. And you LIE when you claim I have hate and anger. You are the one with the allergy to clarity and honesty.

Actually, I fully understand why those two make a charge of hatred towards true Christians; they are themselves of the devil--the father of lies--who hates Jesus and His brethren. The fact that Feodor can’t distinguished between true Christians and various heretics and apostates--both in the church today and also throughout the centuries gone by--proves he does not possess truth for any of us to heed. And the fact that he regularly defaults to combative and ungracious words offered in so-called “christian reproof” demonstrates he is no servant of God (2 Tim. 2:24-26). I would agree that when they “embrace grace,” it is only meant to include those who are like-minded--“which is kinda hateful,” as you say!

Well ladys and gents, Feo is back to name calling and lying about me, calling me a coward for not wanting to debate, etc. He just doesn't know when to stop his hate all the while saying I'm full of hate!! So his comments will not be posted.

You live in a cloud of Catholic haters. So whenever anyone outside the speaks the truth to it: stop hating on your fellow christians because if antiquated hate; yours just being hateful!

Who among you will agree? No one. And you take that legitimizing?

Idiocy. Has to be said,

"Roman Catholic Italians were lunched in New Orleans in 1891."

Hopefully they had some nice pasta, good wine and some beignets at their lunch.

Strangely enough, there's no mention of the RCC killing a few "heretics" over the years.

Glenn, are you really surprised? Some people are so steeped in their hatred and vitriol that the only way for them to change is through a radical work of the Spirit. Which seems unlikely for those who seek to conform to the world in an attempt to gain the favor of the world.

Good one, Craig! I too had a good laugh at the lunched Roman Catholic Italians. Alternatively, I pictured them all being launched! :-D

I allowed Feo’s comment so everyone can see how bizarre are his statements and arguments. Name-calling us haters of Catholics because we expose Catholic teachings. I, for one, do not hate Catholics and have Catholic friends. Hating unbiblical teaching is not hating people.

He claims we hate the truth when it is he who hates the truth about unbiblical Catholic doctrines.

And he claims our beliefs are idiocy!

I deleted other comments where he attack people besides me, making false claims against them. If you believe differently than him, you are just evil and clueless.
