Christianity Today Astray extremely wrongly tells Christians to NOT vote while in reality promoting the anti-Christian Harris. See my previous post about the importance of the Christian vote.

False teacher Jenny Weaver tells people to order everything to resist the hurricane in the name of Jesus! And a whole lot of other lies about your power to protect yourself from the hurricanes, binding demons, etc This sort of nonsense is dangerous to people who follow her and her ilk who claim “apostolic authority.” No, she isn’t getting any word from God nor is she speaking in tongues
A dangerous new cult is called Shincheonji Church of Jesus, founded in 1984 by Lee Man-hee.
Take these things to heart and spread the word to save people from false teachers/teachings.

Hello, a comment about the cult 신천지 from South Korea: it’s very concerning that they’ve made inroads here. Though you’d think people would be smart enough to recognize the warning signs, in South Korea they have become masters at luring Christians into Bible study groups. The brainwashing begins here and they immediately begin separating them from their families and friend groups with psychological manipulation. While I lived in South Korea , I knew of a young man who was drawn into this cult and he had a very hard time recognizing that these new friends were in fact brainwashing and isolating him. One of his close friends persisted in sending him information about the tactics of this cult, but he’d already become convinced that these people were true Christians who cared about him. They don’t reveal their true beliefs for a long time, sometimes years, at which point the victims have invested so much time and made so many apparent friends that they can’t break ties. Thankfully this young man had his eyes open and he stopped attending. However, one of the leaders began showing up at random places where he was and asked him why he wasn’t coming back. He realized he was being stalked and harassed so he had to be more cautious until they finally left him alone. One of their effective tactics is to attend biblically sound churches and lure members away to try out another Bible study, where they commence this brainwashing. One of these cult members dated a Christian man for 3 years before she finally revealed that her plan had been to draw him into her “church.” Pastors need to be on guard if these cult members are coming into their churches and stealing from the flock.
Robyn,
Thanks for that helpful information!
