While Christians are waging phony war against Jezebel, lust and other "strongmen," the humanism, psychology, selfism and so on are going unchallenged, and are even being promoted in our churches! When Paul waged war in Athens, his spiritual warfare consisted of the ideas of men being confronted by the Gospel of God!

Don't forget the sneaky squid spirit! We must be on guard against that evil squid!
Great quote you posted here, Glen, by Bill Randles. The pentecostals and charismatic pastors love burnishing that old jezebel spirit thing amongst the laity, using and abusing it for power over people, personal admiration as they proclaim to know god better than the rest of us, and for extorting money from the naïve to increase their own bank accounts (deliverance ministries and services are popular in promoting this heretical spiritual warfare.)
One particular Baptist woman, who is a deaconess and church board leader during various times of her church career, called me a baby Christian, while having what I perceived was an honest discussion concerning spiritual warfare. She claimed to hear the audible voice of god, as so many within that congregations did. And a recently ordained assembly of god pastor woman was instructed to "sit in" on the teaching of my Sunday School class as I can only assume that some of the leadership talking heads did not like me brining up the false teachings of some of their favorite idols; Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Paula White, Todd Bentley, John Hagee, Jonathon Cahn, Cindy Jacobs, Mike Bickle, Jesse Duplantis, John Piper, Creflo Dollar, Francis Chan, Jentezen Franklin, Andrew Wommack, Jack Hayford, Smith Wigglesworth, Greg Laurie, Katheryn Kuhlman, Mike Murdock, Robert Schuller, T.D. Jakes, Pat Robertson, James Dobson/Focus on the Family, Joseph Prince, Lou Engle, Rick Joyner, J. Lee Grady, Jennifer LeClair, Kris Vollotton, Peter Wagner, Chuck Pierce, and Mark Driscoll.
Just to name a few individuals here that were quoted often, their teachings worshiped like the sun, and books, videos and internet sermons that I was supposed to listen too, for after all, upon entering their church gates, many of us were proclaimed and labeled "baby Christians" at their secretive love fests called church board and deacon/deaconess meetings.
I felt like a dog chasing my tail in circles, never measuring up to their spiritual expectations in my faith in Christ alone. The Good News is that upon leaving that abusive and toxic church, I have experienced the freedom and liberty that comes from knowing the true Gospel and worshiping Him alone, instead of mere men and women.
Many church people hate those of us they cannot lord it over with their words, their actions, and their fake prayers. How sad is that.
Martha,
Very good testimony and commentary! Sorry you had to put up with that nonsense.
