We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

If God Does Not Exist

If God does not exist, then you are just a miscarriage of nature, thrust into a purposeless universe to live a purposeless life. …

If God does not exist, then nobody has any value. Only if God exists can a person consistently support women’s rights. For if God does not exist, then natural selection dictates that the male of the species is the dominant and aggressive one. Women would no more have rights than a female goat or chicken have rights. In nature whatever is, is right. …

If God does not exist, there can be no objection to using people as human guinea pigs. The end of this view is population control in which the weak and unwanted are killed off to make room for the strong.

I accidentally deleted this comment (dated 4/10/23) but it was still in my email so I am pasting it here with my response.

Nice try in your efforts to embarrass atheists, but theists have even bigger philosophical problems to deal with. For instance, your god doesn't talk to anyone. You cannot hear him. You cannot see your god. You cannot feel him in any way. You guys claim your god wants to have fellowship with man but he also hides himself away. Where is your god in the midst of genocides and famines?

Arnold,
THere is not even a hint of trying to embarrass anyone, so your charge must be due to your guilt.

God has talked personally to many people He chose over the years to accomplish his purposes, and these prophets wrote His word so we have God speaking to us through what has been passed down in the Bible, and we hear His word with our minds.
We can see God in His creation, all the wonders of the world and universe, all the tiny miracles needed to create living things. God does not hide himself.

God isn't a puppeteer and allows mankind free will. The horrible sin in this world is becasue mankind has turned his back on God and does as he pleases.

While there have been so-called "Christians" throughout history who have gone against everything Christianity teaches, it's atheists who have committed the genocides all over the world.
