We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Be Forewarned — More Wolves and False Teachings

Heresy Hiding in Plain Sight. 2 hrs/24 min radio program exposing Hillsong’s “worship music.” The first 10-15 minutes waiting to get into the actual program is tedious, and even a few minutes after as they explain what they they are reporting. Have something to do while you’re listening. If this doesn’t wake you to the horrid problems of Hillsong, then you aren’t paying attention.

If the “church” you attend has to do this to get an audience, then it is a goat-pen led by wolves. Imagine the good that money could do in helping Christians in need.

When Christian pastors charge money to attend a Good Friday service, you know they’ve sold out to the devil. And the plot thickens.

Catholics really need to clean their own house.

Beth Moore continues to spiral deeper into false teachings. She doesn’t care WHO she joins with in destroying the church.

A good exposure of the false nature of the Eastern Orthodox religion. I also wrote about that organization nine years ago.

Beware of Darren Wilson’s horrid false teachings and movies.

The new “churches” are designed for self-glorification.  The idea is to appeal to non-believers, but that is NOT what church is for!

The Pope is now funding those who are trying to immigrate illegally to the USA. Gee, I wonder what Christ would say about helping those who disobey laws?

Claiming to be a Christian seminary or a Christian person doesn’t make it so.  The Christian faith has been abandoned.

More blasphemers supporting homosexual behavior as being okay with God.

A Christian foster and adoption agency has cowardly bent to the fascists and has decided to give children to perverted couples, thereby endangering their lives. They have thereby become wolves to these children.

The double standard of Michael Brown: he is a wolf defending wolves.

Pat Robertson and his “700 Club” need to disappear and quit pretending to be Christian. The man is a false prophet and heretic.

A fellow blogger sent me this link about Seventh-day Adventist teaching. Lots to look at, but more proof that they are indeed a heretical cult.

Thank-you for that piece on Pat Robertson. He is a self promoting "nut" whose mouth/heart says some of the most bizarre religious blabber that I have ever heard. He was one of the "prophets" referred to me from the Baptist charismatic leadership team that I once sat under, that I was supposed to listen too and follow to become more "enlightened" like they were!

After a couple of internet encounters of listening to Pat, I can honestly say that he gave me some of the most comedic laughs I have experienced to date and my eye sockets were strengthened from all of the eye ball rolling that ensued.

And he makes a substantial income using the Name of our LORD for his religious business. What an empire!

maybe you should actually listen to hillsong united's recent album that jut came out. It is all about how we respond in trials....maybe there is a reason they are so loved because they actually encourage believers and challenge and even are used to convict them in their daily walk when life hits the grind....doesnt mean you agree with everything the church teaches.

Anonymous,

Why should Hillsong's music be listened to, purchased, used in the assembly when all that does is support Hillsong's false teachings?!? Regardless of how good the lyrics may be (rare), using their material gives tacit approval to their false teachings and financially supports them. Take a look at my Open Letter to "Worship" Leaders:

Hillsong is doctrinally corrupt.

Hi Glenn,

Not mentioned here (due to timing), but the death of RHE certainly has been in the news. She had very, very unbiblical theology. I know you covered the problems with her false teachings many times.

Carolyn,

Yeah, I learned about RHE later and by the time my next post like this is published it will be old news.
Although RHE's book and articles will still be out there leading people astray, she will no longer be personally able to spread her heretical teachings, but it is sad that she died without knowing the true Jesus Christ and God. Here's a good article:

Hi Glenn,

Yes I saw Elizabeth Prata's article. I think she said it well.

You are right, RHEs books will still be out there, but she can no longer personally teach any more errors.

I've asked one particular "progressive" on more than one occasion, "how far can one stretch Biblical teaching until one is no longer following the One True God?" To date, no answer. It's an important question if one insists one is simply "interpreting" differently and how dare you insist I can't do it that way!!!

I bring this up after reading this post. Some of those references are truly more than merely off the rails. Others I wonder about. If one wishes to reach out to the heretical still parading around as Christians (I mean M. Brown here), to cut them slack in a way that allows them to believe their heresies indicts one's self. What one feels about the attempt to connect with such people is one thing. How one portrays it publicly is quite another. Brown's defense of his associations suggests maybe we have something to learn from the heretics, thus validating their heresies whether he means to or not.

I only know Brown from his columns I see at Townhall.com (not that I necessarily read them all). Most of what I read there does little to give me pause. The fact is, I can't think of anything that did...not there, anyway. But such associations as you describe does.

Art,

Michael Brown is a pretty good conservative commentator, which is why he is on Townhall. But when it comes to the Christian faith, he is a charismatic New Apostolic Reformation member, with lots of false teaching. He often even gets "off the rails." So in social/political matters he's pretty good, but when it comes to the Christian faith, he is a WOLF.
