Next up, Rick Warren. This guy is more and more an embarrassment to the true Church, as he gets more and more politically involved while compromising the faith he claims to believe. He joins with a popular homosexual activist entertainer urging the government to continue funding AIDS research—meaning to keep spending millions of dollars of tax money to find a solution to a problem which is easily solved by practicing sexual morality! Warren is very involved with the social gospel, yet he doesn’t realize that the money spent for AIDS research (which should be a private enterprise) could be better spent helping people truly in need! But what is really sickening, and violating Ephesians 5:4 while holding hands with Elton John and joking about kissing him!
I am one who never got in to the whole National Day of Prayer silliness for several reasons, the main one of which is ecumenicalism—any religious belief is welcomed to participate, no matter what sort of god they pray to. The fact that it is a law to set a day aside for prayer makes it more useless due to its political reasons. Randy White sums up my sentiments very well.
Here’s a good article about why women should not be preaching in the assembly.
More in-depth examination of that heretical PCUSA “pastor” who praises the work of Planned Parenthood. The man is a pawn of Satan. As the author of the article says at the end, “Truly, it is baffling to comprehend how any person of reasonable sanity and intelligence can call the taking of lives a ministry of resurrection. But that is just what Kukla is preaching from his pastoral pulpit.”
A good video about the problem with CCM’s “Jesus is my boyfriend” songs.
Andy Stanley— this man really has serious problems as a preacher. He think expository teaching is “easy and cheating.” ?!?! Yep, that’s what he says. So what is his belief? “All Scripture is equally inspired, but not all Scripture is equally applicable or relevant to every stage of life. My challenge is to read culture and to read an audience and ask: What is the felt need? Or perhaps what is more important, what is an unfelt need they need to feel that I can address?” Did you get that? Don’t read the Bible, read the culture. Help the people with their “felt needs.”
Charismatic Paula White violates Scripture by putting herself up as a “pastor.” Of course she’s a false teacher so that really just adds insult to injury. However, she can’t even meet ANY requirements for being a pastor, especially since she’s had three spouses. But WAIT— she just married again. I wonder how she can explain not stepping down yet?
Answers in Genesis has posted their review of the latest episode of “A.D.”
The epidemic of narcigesis has infected so many of the popular teachers that one wonders if it will ever be cured.
Finally, here is an example of what churches should not do. I wonder why they don’t have a sign saying “Fornicators Must Repent or Go to Hell”?

Hi Glenn,
Admittedly I did laugh that you already had to post another RAAH. Sad commentary on the state of the church, indeed.
Driscoll, Warren, both shameful.
Randy White's article on NDoP - YES!!! I agree with him wholeheartedly, and have never been a fan of that ecumenical gathering. Nor the "See you at the pole".
Sad that Piper is heading down the mysticism lane. I haven't ever been super fond of him personally, but he tends to be highly regarded by many believers... hence we all need to be aware of any askew trajectories he takes.
The Wretched video was hilarious!
I agree, the "repent or go to hell" type signs are not helpful, especially when they target one sin but ignore others that are just as serious. To be fair, it should say "Liars repent or go to hell..." After all, lying is speaking the very words of satan himself. What about thieves... gossipers... murderers... idolaters... blasphemers... fornicators... drunkards...? For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Christians are just beggars telling other beggars where to find bread, to quote a radio preacher from years ago.
Great roundup! Though all too soon after the last one...

That church sign is outrageous; it is hateful; it is inappropriate. That church has no right to post messages like this.
They should just stick to the Bible.
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
There, now doesn't that sound a lot more loving and accepting?
The article (thanks for the link) about narcigesis is simply amazing. Yes, this nonsense is everywhere and increasing, and I'm glad someone is pointing it out so wonderfully and openly! A great site!
Thanks for the randoms again Glen.
I often wonder if Jesus intended for his ekklesia to be "fan based" or follower based. For I find it quite interesting is this day and age with the so called knowledge, technology, and industrialization increasing, that the names of this big preacher or that great teacher is tossed about by the mouths of man
MORE
than the Wonderful Name of Jesus and His Mighty Word. Sad day we live in, yes, indeed, a very sad day.
Case in point, in the job that I work at in a small town business, the woman who owned the store belonged to the charismatic flavor of Christianity.....one of the area churches where they believe they are the only ones saved and the rest of us are headed for hell. She "was led" to pop Paula White and Joyce Meyer cd's into her machine "to witness" to me while I was working in her store. Not only was I deeply hurt by her "spiritual elitism", but those cd's about drove me cuckoo.
And sorry folks....not a fan of Piper, either. At all!
Still love my pastor from years ago in that small country church....he preached Jesus, His teachings, and never ever name dropped the name of this great man nor that one.....for all men have sinned and fall short. Amen!
Church sign "Idolaters must repent or go to hell."
Convicted = All of us.
