Something I’ve know for a long time, since I study Mormonism more than any other false teaching, is the fact that Mormons as a whole are under more stress than the average population. With their constant striving for perfection, and worrying about whether they’ve done enough to earn salvation, it is no real wonder why they are so stressed out! I’ve previously read that Utah has the highest rate of depression in the U.S.A.
HT to Erin.
A woman who reads this blog sent me a link to this article which points out what happens when the church panders to the world - it causes more loss of the younger generation. Those of us in the apologetics ministry have been saying this for a long time, as we have condemned the seeker-sensitive and market-driven philosophies.

Hi Glenn,
The "Shack" movie - figures one of the biggest false prophetesses of our age would portray the false 'god' of that heretical book. The number of Christians who read that book and thought it was of legitimate value, just astonish me.
Osteen praising the pope, no surprise. RW did too. Apostasy abounds. What astonishes me again, the number of believers who can't see the problem with this.
I never consciously gave thought to how stressed Mormons must be with all their striving. I think the same would be true for JWs, who also put such an emphasis on trying to "be perfect" so their false 'god'/false 'jesus' accepts them. May God help them understand the truth of who He is - since both cults have an utterly incorrect view of who Jesus is - and find rest for their souls (Matthew 11) in genuine salvation.
I agree, the American church may soon be cornered into what is happening in Denmark, also with losing tax status too. Christ always is and always will be faithful to true believers and will help us navigate these waters should these challenges befall us.

Hi Glenn,
Some more evangelical garbage my husband and I found last night:
