Israel vs “Palestine”

Yes, this is sort of an unusual post for this blog but the history of Christianity is part of the history of Israel in the New Testament. Therefore, we should have an answer for those who decry Israel today as “colonizers” who need to be eradicated. I believe God still has a special place in history for Israel. I do NOT believe in the “replacement” theory or that God no longer cares about Israel. For this reason I want to share accurate information about Israel and the claims of the so-called “Palestinians. (I have read several books with essentially the same information, so this is not new to me.)

In 1858 the Ottoman Empire, which owned all the land in what was then known as Palestine (encompassing both Israel and Jordan), amended its land laws to prohibit the ownership and inheritance of land in Palestine by Arabs. Jews bought the land from Turkish elite, who promptly registered the land in their own names when Arabs failed to claim rights in 1858 (as the Empire knew they would). 

At the time the Ottoman Empire lost the land in 1918 and the British were appointed to manage Mandatory Palestine, no Arab owned land there. When the Mandate terminated and the land was divided, Israel was formed as a Jewish state and Jordan was formed from the Hashemite Kingdom of Trans-Jordan. No Arab owned land in Israel at that time, and no Arab accepted the land offered under the Mandate except for the Hashemites. Arabs had no land rights in Palestine after 1858 and accepted no land rights thereafter. Hence, Arab "Palestinians" did not own land in Palestine and did not own land in Israel that they can claim today.

 Although Arabs blame Jews for stealing their land, it was actually non-Arab Turks who undermined Arabs, not Jews. I learned this information from an Arab historian, who said the amendment of Turkish land laws inflamed existing Arab animosity toward Jews. Rather than admit that Turks excluded Arabs from land ownership in Palestine, about which they could nothing, they blame Jews in order to convince the world that they have rights to the land because they have no other way to obtain and dominate it (dominate being the salient word).

Every American (and citizens of other countries) should KNOW this information so as not to be deceived by the politicians and LEFTISTS.

Vast numbers of people—both within and outside of religion—say they believe in God. But if belief in God means living according to God’s moral dictates, how many people actually believe in God, even allowing for inevitable transgressions that all—including the finest—human beings will engage in?

It's Islam, Stupid!

The apologetics field includes exposing false belief systems. Islam is likely THE most dangerous and demonic of all religious/political systems and yet nations—including the USA—keep allowing these people in their countries while politicians pander to them (and help to finance them!). This single article is one of the best I’ve found exposing the behaviors and ideology of Islam.

A friend asked me to find out what I could about Peggy Joyce Ruth. So I googled her name, appending the tag “false teacher.” THIS is the first thing I found, making it unnecessary to go any farther to know this woman is bad news.

Celebrity Super Pastors Praising Themselves. See how many false teachers you see. What a bunch of narcissistic, arrogant blasphemers of God. If you have the time, watch the whole 45 minutes and write out the names of each of these embarrassments to the real Church. It is almost unbelievable that they say such things.

This foolish Pope is who the Catholics look to for leadership?!? He has totally bought into the “climate change” lie.

Michael Georges Jr. is in NO way a “pastor”—he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The National Cathedral in Washington, DC, is an Episcopal Church, so it doesn’t surprise me when they decide to virtually worship the fraudulent organization “Black Lives Matter.” Absolutely disgusting.

Does God Answer Our Prayers?

Now, it is both natural and theologically legitimate to make requests of God—to pray for one’s health or the health of a loved one, for help in resisting evil, or with regard to any of the other myriad challenges and tragedies that befall us. But answering requests is not the primary role of God, and many people who believe it is will become disappointed and perhaps even alienated from God.

God’s role is to teach us how to lead a moral and holy life, and how to attain wisdom—hence the Torah [first 5 books of the O.T.] and the rest of the Bible. With regard to unjust suffering, God’s role is to provide a guide for how to reduce man-made suffering in this life, to provide ultimate justice in an afterlife, and to be with us when we suffer. He is most certainly there “when we call out to Him,” as myriad people have experienced when they have suffered, but that does not mean—it cannot mean—that God answers all requests as we would wish. …

Expecting God to give us what we want has led many religious people to feel disappointed in God and then abandon their faith. Ask not what you want from God, but what God wants from you.
