We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Exposing the Wolves

I’ve been quite busy with gigs, doctor appointments, work around the house, and then a few days vacation to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the day we married. So getting time to do much “research and development” for articles has been slim, and will be for a while.

However, I’ve decided to do a post mostly about people — the false teaching wolves who are preying on the sheep of the Church. First, though, I thought I’d give you the Top 10 Ways the Bible Opposes Illegal Immigration

When it comes to these wolves, some are kookier than others and some are more vicious than others. Just be alert!

Michael Gungor, an influential one-time “Christian” music artist needs to be avoided at all costs.

Max Lucado— Homosexual enabler, false teacher, joiner of social justice culture.

Matt Chandler crashing off the rails.

David Taylor, TV fraud.

David Herzog sings loves songs to Jesus as he lies about what “spiritual songs” are.

Hank Kunneman of One Voice Ministries has some wacky ideas about coronavirus vs. abortions.

With charismania we even have a “prophetess” who dies but is resurrected when enough money is put on her.

Tim Henderson has opening and closing heavenly portals.

Mark Taylor is one of those with odd ideas about “chemtrails.”

Jen Hatmaker — this woman has no clue about real Christianity — or real life.

Still think Hillsong isn’t a dangerous cult?

Lastly, don’t send your kids to an Episcopal summer camp. They aren’t Christian.

Glenn,

The article on illegal immigration... I laughed out loud at #1, because before I even clicked on the link, I said to myself "#1 - illegal immigration is ILLEGAL".

As for the rest of the links... wolf pack. All of them.

Then there's this...

Believers (ie those with Spirit-led discernment) who saw issue with this guy early on were and are gift to the church.

Carolyn,

Too many Christians decry the idea that people can't come here illegally. They need to be reminded that the law needs to be obeyed where they agree with it or not.
