We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea

Comment Rules

It’s been a very long time since I last posted my rules for comments to be posted so I’m going to now post them again.

Rule #1: Comments must address the actual article and not try to add to it with personal opinions which have nothing to do with the article.

Rule #2: No name-calling (ad hominem attacks).

Rule #3: Remain civil and respectful.

Rule #4: If you have comment under “Anonymous” due to inability to log on for commenting, please end your comment with your name, or any name you want to represent you so when I have more than one Anonymous I can respond to the correct one!

Rule #6: If you disagree with something in my post, if you think what I post is in error, then provide a correction from Scripture or show where a quote is taken out of context.

Rule #6: If you want to continue a discussion with lengthy comments, take it to my email.
