We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

The Need to Expose False Teachers!

Imagine that a serial killer’s neighbour had committed a murder. The serial killer knew about the neighbour’s crime but covered it up and failed to warn anyone about the murderer in their midst. Eventually, the neighbour is caught, and people are outraged at the serial killer for not speaking out. That is their outrage. What escapes them is the fact that the serial killer himself is a serial killer.

That is largely what is happening in this case. We have Bethel, a false church that has given wicked men like Shawn Bolz the environment and platform to flourish. A false church that requires its own students to get prophetic words wrong as part of their training. A false church that twists Scripture, runs a school of simony, lies about miracles, leads people into mystical encounters - whether imaginative or demonic, and protects the abuser instead of the victims.

Wolves are never going to call out fellow wolves, especially at Bethel, where any form of the so-called supernatural is valued above Scripture. You cannot reform or cleanse the hyper-charismatic movement or the New Apostolic Reformation. The only solution to these aberrant movements is that they be silenced, shut down, and marked and avoided.

The Problem of Sin

This "meme" was shared by someone on Facebook and I saw it as being thought-provoking, so I'm sharing it here.

A Short Post on Roman Catholicism

On another note, beginning about the 6th century the Papist Church started persecuting Jews and it became more severe during the 12th century with the Inquisition. Not only did Rome persecute the Jew but they also murdered them with the claim they were “Christ killers.” Of course, what was illogical about that, was that Christ needed to be killed for our salvation!!!

A Roman Catholic priest who needs to be excommunicated.

Then there is the Pope, who is on the wrong side of just about everything: illegal immigration, Gaza vs Israel, capitalism vs socialism, support for Islam—as the article says, he’s for moral relativism!

Then he supports a pro-LGBTQ archbishop by appointing him “to a prominent role in the Vatican” instead of excommunicating him!!

More apostasy by the Roman Catholic Church.

Articles like these show up daily, proving that neither the Pope nor the Roman Catholic Church truly represent Jesus Christ.

The Sin of Immodesty

The following was posted on Allie Beth Stuckey’s Facebook page, 1/13/26. She was showing a video of a woman named Rosaria (I never found the last name). This was the talk on the video:

Immodesty is a sin. It’s the kind of sin that destroys the peace and purity of the Church. It’s the kind of sin that brings dishonor to the name of Christ. The Puritans, who were very colorful with their metaphors, said this: “A beautiful but immodest woman entering a room of men is a lit candle in a world full of gunpowder.”

There were several comments about how the men should control their lusts, as if that absolves the woman’s immodesty. Women know they will attract the looks of men with immodest dress and that is why they dress immodestly—for the attention it gets.

Women, including young women in your teens, dress appropriately in public. Your bodies should not be displayed to anyone but the man you marry.

Live the Word

There has been a steady erosion of confidence in Scripture for several decades, cumulating in theological and/or practical elimination of the need for the Bible in our lives. After all, in a society infatuated with success - theological understanding , biblical knowledge, and even righteous living, are no match for fancy buildings, high-powered programs, the finest in entertainment and emotional experiences (no matter what the source). Very few churches grow numerically today because of solid teaching of the Word. That is because very few Christians today see the importance of the Word. To them the Bible is much like a musical concert - there to produce an experience, not to transform their lives. They see no vital connection between Scripture and life. To know God’s truth is not essential to how they want to live their lives; therefore they have no desire or urgency to study the Bible. This leaves a vacuum that is being filled with mysticism, rituals, entertainment and fun, all in the name of Christ.
