We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

More Good, Bad and UGLY!

Good stuff

Athanasius, Arius, and . . . Santa Claus? Why Nicaea still matters 1,700 years later.

These Harmful Lies About Christmas Are Spreading RAPIDLY

BAD

Somewhat disconcerting things in the PCA.

Kirk Cameron now embraces annihilationism, denying punishment in Hell.

Sean Feucht: Purge the Demons From Your Home?

UGLY

The Pope and his support for Islam is ungodly, stupid and foolish.

Another Catholic Church promoting illegal immigration by comparing illegals with Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. Blasphemy.

This blasphemous heretic of a Catholic needs to be excommunicated but I doubt that will happen.

Josh McPherson is a “pastor” who really needs avoiding, including don’t go to his church!

Jesse Duplantis is as demonic as it gets with his claims.

Patricia King proves just how seriously of a false teacher she is.

I have listened to Cameron on hell, and I don't agree with his annihilationist view of it.

I don't believe he is denying judgement and hell as punishment, but he is questioning whether this is consciously endured for ever or comes to an end. The punishment is eternal on either the so-called traditional view or the annihilation view. The wicked never get to enjoy what the righteous who inherit eternal life do.

What disturbs me is the reaction to Kirk in comment sections. Snark and party spirit, accusations of apostasy, and I can't help suspect some have never actually given the subject much thought.

Those who are angry, insulting and bandying the word 'fool' about ought to consider that if this is the hallmark of their lives they might one day be in danger of hell themselves.

Incidentally your Dissenter piece used the expression 'sovereign grace'. The NT never puts adjectives before the word grace!!

Ken, after listening to Kirk I think he is denying what hell is about, ergo denying hell.
Dissenter is a "reformed" site, which explains "sovereign" -- and I agree with you that isn't found in the Bible.
