We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Agglomeration

Dallas Jenkins tries to show how it’s okay to watch his horrible The Chosen and his new series House of David. He claims more people are reading the Bible now. Well, if they do, then they wouldn’t waste more time watching them with all the heresy and blasphemy in them. BUT, I sincerely doubt his claim about everyone praising his stuff for leading them to the Bible and salvation.

WOW! Pay attention to how Satan would destroy the minds of our CURRENT generation (vs “the next”).  It’s really spot on!

A reminder that Christians should not be involved with Freemasonry.

Only One Question Solves the Mystery of the Sin of Sodom.

Christianity Today Astray argues that Jesus wasn’t nailed to the cross. They caught so much flak that they had to retreat from the idea!

7 Ways New Agers Twist Bible Verses

A Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) now has a Men’s Same-Sex Attraction Group! A bit more information including the connection to Tim Keller.

So why isn’t this Cardinal excommunicated from the Catholic church?!?  AND, why aren’t these bishops excommunicated?!?

Pope Francis: Servant or Enemy of Christ? It’s a 57-minute video examining Francis and even the Catholic Church. Well worth the time.  Additionally, here is an excellent article describing what a hypocrite he was regarding ecology and “climate change.”  So, what will Jesus say to him?

While talking about Catholics, how about this: The Stations Of The Cross: A Practice Of Medieval Fraud

No, Jim Caviezel did NOT hear from Jesus. The movie was unbiblical.

Is there any United Methodist Church left which follows the teaching of Jesus? This woman “pastor” has foolish ideas.  Abject heresy and blasphemy in another UMC. And this Methodist preacher compares Jesus to an MS-13 gang member he supports!!

A Warning to the Church about Todd White.  This guy is really bad news and I’ve often posted links to articles showing just how bad he is.  Another video of a blasphemous “sermon” he taught.

Anti-Christ, Anti-Family

A Mother and Father Were Deported. What Happened to Their Toddler?

The Trump administration sent the mother of a 2-year-old to Venezuela and the father to a Salvadoran prison. Their daughter remains somewhere in the United States.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Nothing on this post is anti-Christ or anti-family. The statement about Trump has been proven false.
This blog is not for political discussions. PLEASE stop posting political comments. I thought you were going to leave me alone!

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo, This blog is not for political discussions and I'm not going to post your comments if they are politically. However, to prove you wrong about your claim about the toddler, etc, take a look at this post and end of discussion:

Well, first, let’s tackle your hypocrisy. Help me to know when you want to talk about families as a moral issue and when do you not want to talk about families because you prefer to hide it behind politics?

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo,
I have no hyporisy. You are implying that I am against families as a moral issue and that is a lie. Sometimes children have to be separated from their parents to save their lives or save them from abuse. This IS a political issue and not an apologetics issue so I'm not hiding behind anything. End of discussion,

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo, I don't lie for Trump. I don't even address him on this blog. But you can't help yourself to continue babbling about politics. I have asked you many times to stop trying to post politics on my blog but you can't help yourself.
Fact: I know Trump lies and opens his mouth too much BUT he was the best choice between him and Biden. And that's all I care about. Keep your politics on your own blog, PLEASE!!!

Feodor said...

I’ll post about your moral cowardice.

Feodor said...

And you wont defend your theology on my religious posts because see you’re scared I’ll show you how scripture is against you like I take Jesse down.

You don’t know the first thing about the Lord’s Prayer.

You radical Protestants can’t read Greek so you don’t know it’s not actually “daily” bread. And you refuse the implication that Christian’s ought to be involved in helping every person alive. “Your will be fine ON EARTH as it is in heaven.

Stan is notorious for rejecting this very idea. He spurns life on earth. So do you.

Jesus doesn’t. God’s will is for us to make a community of love, peace, and justice WITH everyone.

You don’t get the first thing about the Gospels or faith.

You’re just a White believer in 17th century ideology.

You don’t want to talk Christian faith. You can’t do that either. You’re a brutalized in politics and religion.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Then you lie because I have no moral cowardice. Now go away.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo, you are a hard-core Papist who is never ready to listen to reason. All you do is spew hate. I don't debate with your ilk because it is fruitless. Your behavior is un-Christian. I'm not a Protestant because I have never protested against the papist religion--I just expose their false doctrines and immoral papacy and their murders of Jews throughout history, as well as murdering Christians who don't kowtow to the pope. So please, please go away and post all the lies about me that you want on your own blog, a blog of hate.

Wrong, Glenn. What a shock. I’m not Roman Catholic and I don’t believe in primacy of one Bishop.

What I am is orthodox and catholic. I believe in the Incarnation and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I believe he was born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit, suffered under Pontus Pilate, died and was buried. Therefore I also believe in the Holy Spirit as the present life and teacher of god’s grace. I believe in eternal life, one, holy, and universal church. I believe that Jesus, and the first church as guided by the Spirit, taught us the sacraments as the discipline of corporate life together to immerse ourselves meaningfully in the grave of god. I believe that the sacramental life of the church nourishes us to serve the world in love with empathy and care.

I believe the scriptures witnesses to all these things and reminds us that the Spirit is alive and teaching us every day as we still grown in the knowledge of the fullness of the triune god.

And since the scriptures began the revelation of god, I believe them when they witness to angels and faithful people saying about Mary that she is “full of grace” having “found favor with god,” “blessed among all women,” “mother of the Lord,” blessed she “believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” Which puts her in the company of Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, and all those named in the letter to the Hebrews as the prime examples of faith in the Hebrew Scriptures.

She, in fact, was prophesied by Isaiah. And only she, the Messiah, and John the Baptist were prophesied. I believe the Scriptures when the witness her words to the effect that god looked with favor on her low estate, did great things for her, and blessed her such that generations would forever call her Blessed as the Mother of God. I believe the Scriptures when she says that she is the sign that gif will indeed lift up the lowly and the hungry and will scatter the proud and powerful.

You don’t believe these scriptures. You don’t believe the Mother of God. Or the Incarnation which we feed on in the Eucharistic bread and wine. So I pray for you, Glenn to actually read and believe the scriptures rather than idolize them in a 17th century way.

This is pretty urgent, Glenn, because Simeon, to whom the Holy Spirit spoke, said to Mary something that we should believe (because why else would it be in the Gospel?):

“A sword will pierce your own soul, so that the thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”

You’re being revealed Glenn.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Fine, you're one step below Roman Catholicism as to a false believe system. You've seen my posts and those are my response to the Orthodox Church as well.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

By the way, I believe in all the Scriptures you cite, I believe in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. YOU are the one idolizing anything==idolizing doctrines added long after the Church was formed. I believe Mary was the mother of God in the original meaning and reason from the Council of Chalcedon in 451, as I noted in my article:
https://watchmansbagpipes.blogspot.com/2025/04/mary-mother-of-church-is-not-mary-of.html
As for the Eucharist, I don't believe in the false doctrine Roman Catholicism or Orthodox Catholicism teach as noted in this article:
https://watchmansbagpipes.blogspot.com/2025/04/the-catholic-eucharist-unbiblical-and.html
So don't you DARE call me an unbeliever!

Jack Morrow said...

Glenn, I increasingly find that the Bible verse I most have to practice now is Proverbs 14:7, rendered in the KJV as "Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge," and paraphrased by Father Majeski in "All in the Family" as "Don't waste your time arguing with an idiot."

Feodor said...

You ignore this:

“Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the[c] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

“Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself.”

You’re an unbeliever by your own terms: 17th century Genevan reading of an error strewn translation of the Greek NT

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

If it was really his body he couldn't be holding it and he'd be ordering cannibalism. THINK man.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo, no one except KJV Only clowns use that old translation and YOU KNOW THAT. Conversation is over.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Jack, I have tried for years with this troll.

Feodor said...

You’re an unbeliever by your win terms: you only believe in a 17th century Genevan reading of an error strewn translation of a Greek New Testament which didn’t have the oldest documents at hand.

You hate on 3/4 of all Christians. Against Jesus’ and the apostles’ command to live one another.

You’re detestable refusal of so much of Christ’s commands, the greatest one in particular, is the central danger to your soul.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Feo, you bear false witness against me. I do NOT believe in the 17th Century, etc, rather I read a Bible based on much earlier find and the latest scholarship. I don't hate any Christian. You are no longer welcome here because all you want to do is argue.

Good articles here Glenn. The 57 minute video with Justin Peters and his friend was very well done. I watched it and gave it my full attention! Truthful yet graciously given information. Stay strong!

I just had another thought. Have you done anything on Jonathan Cahn, a messianic Jew who talks a lot of prophecy?

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Hi Mary,
YEP, I thought that 57-min video was great.
As for Cahn, I haven't personally written about him but I've linked to articles about him on my various "Agglomeration" type posts. Look on the right side of the blog and you'll see subjects under "Labels" and Cahn Jonathan is there. Click on that link and then you'll get all the articles with links about him.
