We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Agglomeration Time!

Lots of good truths and lots of exposing ugly stuff.

What is Truth? Some churches have changed what Scripture clearly says so as not to offend.

With today’s culture, don’t forget the true teachings of the false religion, Islam.

We’ve just had Hallowe’en with all the claims about its occultic origin, etc. How about the actual facts of its origin!

Self-Absorbed ‘Christians’ and Their Perceptions of the Bible. Excellent commentary.

Invalid reasons for staying in a church you know teaches false doctrine.

Red Flags On “After Death” Film from Angel Studios

Some good information exposing false teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The truth about the Pharisees.

There are pastors who have no business being pastors!

How much more apostate can the Roman Catholic Church get????!?!  Then there is one of their schools which has decided that God is wrong and men can be women.

The Pope is 100% behind the lie of transgender as he rebels against God.  The Babylon Bee sums it up nicely.  The Pope  also endorses a blasphemous Bible!  And that isn’t all.

Kenneth Copeland. I look forward to the day he meets his master—Satan. Here’s a blasphemous stunt which I think proves that Copeland is demon-possessed.

More problems with “The Chosen.”

The Church by the Glades continues to prove that it is NOT a Christian assembly.

Bill Johnson and Bethel "Church"

Famine in the land posted this on Facebook on 10/28/23 (click on the photo to enlarge it).

Bethel: take risks, and expect things to get messy.

Also Bethel - to critics: we're not accountable for the mess.

If you've watched Grave Soaking - (Part 1) - American Gospel: Spirit & Fire - then you'll know that Bethel are masters at obfuscation. In other words, they are dishonest and lie. This is an example of where their theology leads - individuals who hope or think that:

* Beni might visit her bench.

* It's a place where heaven is open and angels play around.

* They can open a heavenly portal over the bench.

* They can talk to the dead - Beni.

* They can find peace or the presence of God at the bench.

* Anyone who sits there will get loved on by the Holy Spirit.

Tell me who is being elevated - Beni Johnson or Christ?

Once again, a physical location that is connected to someone Bethel perceives as being anointed or a "general in the faith," is being viewed as a place where something supernatural may occur. This could be defined in a few ways (none of them good) - idolatry, mysticism, vain imaginations, occultic.

Do You REALLY Believe in God?

One cannot say, “I believe in God,” while deliberately ignoring God’s instructions. God understands that every human being will at times fail to do what He wants. But deliberate failure to do God’s will on an ongoing basis means that one does not really believe in the God of the Torah. Belief in God means living by God’s laws. Our faith is known through our actions.

Questions About "The Chosen"

TBC NOTES

Questions for Those Christians Enamored with The Chosen

Those involved in the production of The Chosen claim that the series does not add to God's words (condemned in Proverbs:30:6). How can that be true when the actor who portrays Jesus says things and does things not found in the Bible?

We're told that the backstories given throughout The Chosen were all made up by the series screenwriters, yet we're also told that the made-up stories encourage people to read the Bible. How can anyone who is new to reading the Bible discern that which is true? Especially when The Chosen and the Bible contradict each other, which they do continually.

Did Jesus need help from His disciples (such as Matthew) in preparing the Sermon on the Mount?

Was the Word of God as given through the Holy Spirit insufficient in presenting the character of Jesus until the motion picture medium was invented?

Where in Scripture do we find Jesus "entertaining" children by "blowing raspberries”?

Is it possible for anyone to replicate the Son of God, the Son of the Highest, the Son of the Blessed, the Lord thy God, the Lord of the Sabbath, thou Son of God most high, the Word who was with God and was God, the Lamb of God, the only begotten Son, the Messiah, the Christ, the eternal I Am, who was before all things and by whom all things consist, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, who is God our Savior, and who is the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior?

Those are just a few questions that came to my mind regarding The Chosen. These kinds of questions will continue for the next few newsletters. My purpose is to get those being seduced by this series (produced by Mormons pretending to be biblical Christians) to really think about what they're watching. Send me some questions you would ask those who are in fact controlling the program's content and those who are enamored with it.

Israel vs “Palestine”

Yes, this is sort of an unusual post for this blog but the history of Christianity is part of the history of Israel in the New Testament. Therefore, we should have an answer for those who decry Israel today as “colonizers” who need to be eradicated. I believe God still has a special place in history for Israel. I do NOT believe in the “replacement” theory or that God no longer cares about Israel. For this reason I want to share accurate information about Israel and the claims of the so-called “Palestinians. (I have read several books with essentially the same information, so this is not new to me.)

First is this excellent article, Islam & “Palestine” vs Israel/Jews, from Lighthouse Trails Research.

Some more excellent historical information can be found here at American Thinker.

Lastly, this outstanding Youtube video from a couple years ago is well worth the 20+ minutes of educating yourself.

A 2022 commenter (@ellenlevenson7831)to the youtube added a wee bit more history:

In 1858 the Ottoman Empire, which owned all the land in what was then known as Palestine (encompassing both Israel and Jordan), amended its land laws to prohibit the ownership and inheritance of land in Palestine by Arabs. Jews bought the land from Turkish elite, who promptly registered the land in their own names when Arabs failed to claim rights in 1858 (as the Empire knew they would).

At the time the Ottoman Empire lost the land in 1918 and the British were appointed to manage Mandatory Palestine, no Arab owned land there. When the Mandate terminated and the land was divided, Israel was formed as a Jewish state and Jordan was formed from the Hashemite Kingdom of Trans-Jordan. No Arab owned land in Israel at that time, and no Arab accepted the land offered under the Mandate except for the Hashemites. Arabs had no land rights in Palestine after 1858 and accepted no land rights thereafter. Hence, Arab "Palestinians" did not own land in Palestine and did not own land in Israel that they can claim today.

Although Arabs blame Jews for stealing their land, it was actually non-Arab Turks who undermined Arabs, not Jews. I learned this information from an Arab historian, who said the amendment of Turkish land laws inflamed existing Arab animosity toward Jews. Rather than admit that Turks excluded Arabs from land ownership in Palestine, about which they could nothing, they blame Jews in order to convince the world that they have rights to the land because they have no other way to obtain and dominate it (dominate being the salient word).

Every American (and citizens of other countries) should KNOW this information so as not to be deceived by the politicians and LEFTISTS.

Do You Really Believe in God?

[T]he worship of God means following God’s moral dictates. Obeying God’s commands is what worshiping God means. When one truly appreciates this, the question arises of who really believes in God. Vast numbers of people—both within and outside of religion—say they believe in God. But if belief in God means living according to God’s moral dictates, how many people actually believe in God, even allowing for inevitable transgressions that all—including the finest—human beings will engage in?
