Hello Glen,

This is the "Martha" who is a follower and believer in Jesus Christ as her personal LORD and Savior. In these times must one differentiate between the individual who believes verses the one who wears sheep's clothing verses the individual who fashions the wolf whom my Savior Jesus warns us about. Deception is nothing new under the sun and in understanding the Word of Jesus and His Way, is quite contrary to the worldly way of worshipping mankind, ie., man.

Particularly focusing on the meme of the "lutheran church visual." Interestingly, the word "lutheran" is typed, however, one must realize that EACH and EVERVY denominational system that claims to "know a jesus of their own understanding," actually conducts this type of "acting, puppetry, memes, hollywoood type of worship within the ranks of shallow and visual religious performance........"praise band??????" " .....is the bread and butter, the fertilizer so to speak, of westernized religion who calls itself "christianity." The structured 501. c. 3 church service of our day, does not resemble itself of the true ecclesia that I study in the original scripts of the Scriptural context.

I find it odd and amusing at the same time that our LORD Jesus Christ encountered the religious sect of His time with teachings and parables that angered the religious churched folks.....synogued individuals.......who claimed self-righteousness in the name of themselves, meanwhile, neglecting the widows, the sick, and the poor.

When I had cancer, Glen, my own husband, who the baptist church system adores because he give much of our money, (I work my ass off in this farm, driving the semis, grain carts, and doing tillage so my spouse can get some rest/sleep), to their system and even put him on their blasphemous church board.......he said to my face..."the reason you have cancer is because of YOUR sin,"......that did it for me.

Who does that? The churched individuals of our day, kill and destroy, those whom they believe are not of particular importance.

Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of religion and those who claim to speak for a false Christ.

I ran, no, sprinted out of a baptist church that claimed to "love a jesus of sorts," meanwhile the rapist of the church board president ran free and easy down the road, the church board leaders said the victim was "a slut" and deserved to be raped because she was "drinking," (the violent rapist was "drinking" also)," so the rapist was "justified" in violating the woman because......1. he was the son of the baptist church board president, 2. the baptist church board hated the victim and her family so they sided with the rapist and his family, 3.the pastor man (if you can call him that in lieu of his sexual prowess) sided with the rapist instead of the victim in allowing this coward to attend the youth group in which my daughter participated in.......and I did not know any of this was occurring.....and I am her Mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
also, this rapist played a musical instrument in the fake and pathetic "praise band" phenomenon that we are required to worship in this day and age..........if an individual sings, plays and instrument, or is in a praise band........we, non-thinking pew sitters are required to clap, shout out, give a standing ovation, even money (that I work my tail end off of), and back slap and compliment these lost souls of complimentary praise too,.....we as lowly pew sitters, "MUST" worship such insecure and shallow souls such as these.

How sad, how very sad, it is that the state of institutional and organized religion commands and demands our worship.

Precisely and exactly, "whom", I mean "WHOM," are we to worship in spirit and in truth?

My church board husband has hit, punched me in the ribs of which I have taken pictures of the bruising, has strangled my neck, and has shoved and hit me when I was pregnant with our child, as well as emotionally and mentally abused me for 35 years of our marriage.......and you call this church.

My Savior has delivered and saved me from the wolves in sheep's clothing that claim to church themselves to hell. Jesus knows nothing of those who claim to hate and violate women in the name of a religion that claims conservatism (my murderous spouse is a republican and a conservative"), liberalism, patriarchy, or any other form of religious identity that claims to "love jesus."

Jesus warned us of those who claim his name in Matthew 23........reading and studying His Words in the original language, varies so much from the english versions of His original meaning. Be wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove......Jesus' Words.

Hi Martha,

I think it is "lutheran" referring to the apostate ELCA branch. I know the Missouri Synod is fundamental, and I've been told that the Wisconsin Synod is also fundamental. But the ELCA "lutherans" are just false believers supporting every sin you can imagine.

You've had one heck of an experienced. I would hope you divorced that abusive husband!
