Do we willingly spend our hard-earned money on Hollywood films that instill in us the opposite of what the Bible commands? Do we welcome into our homes the flaunting of sin that glorifies the flesh and curses the Name of Jesus while on Sundays we glorify Him at church? (Matthew 22:37). Is it possible to obey God with the whole mind while feeding on godlessness? The answer is no; yet we do let strangers “creep” into our homes and minds. …

Hi, Glenn. People in our church have heard me say it more than once:
What kind of society views violence, immorality, drunkenness, and all other kinds of corruption as >entertainment<?
Hi Jon,
Well said.
I've heard it said that we would never want to be caught looking in our neighbor's bedroom window, and yet we do the same thing when we are watching movies with "bedroom" scenes!
And yet we are entertained by that which Christ died to save us from.
Wow, well said both of you (Jon and Glenn).
And of course the original post was spot on.

This is not to offend anyone here, but in due respect, is Franklin Graham really appearing on TBN with Jan Crouch? And if so, I will boldly confess here, as a former watcher/idolator of Trinity Broadcasting Network, whose faith in Jesus Christ was almost shipwrecked by this television/entertainment program in addition to surrounding myself with women whose every word hinged on the teachings of TBN,
that this form of entertainment is far damaging to the soul/spirit than any form of Hollywood entertainment out there, for TBN is sending more people to hell than Hollywood.
May God, our Almighty Father, have mercy on what the western church has become. A harlot cloaked in the worship of self righteousness filled to over flowing with hypocrisy.I truly miss my humble church of yesteryear where the big name on the ticket was "Jesus Christ." Praise His Holy Name. Amen.
Franklin Graham does a lot which is not good. But this citation from him is certainly on the mark.
