We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This is how I dress for St. Patrick's Day, and for any Irish-themed festival, funeral or graveside service. Hard to see but the bonnet is a green Irish caubeen.

Love this! In 2017 my best friend and I had 10 days in England and Scotland. We were escorted into a castle in Edinburgh for dinner by a gentleman in his kilt playing his bagpipes. It was one of the most wonderful trips I have ever taken I frequently listen to YouTube videos, of the tattoo bagpipers they are just amazing. I have Irish ancestry but anything about the UK interests me. Thanks for the great photo. Wish I could hear you play the bagpipes!

I have Irish and Scottish ancestry through my red-headed mother. Her two sisters and her mother are also all red-headed!
I also watch a lot of YouTube videos with pipers and dancers. I've been playing these beasts for 43 years now!

Red hair is from Vikings raping Gaelic and Anglo-Saxon women. So you’re a fake Irishman, too.

I'm publishing Feo's comment to show my followers the type of foolish comments he makes. Un-Christian name-calling and he does this frequently
So let's address his foolishness. Slave traders around the world raped their women captives, especially the African Muslims who sold their own people into slavery. Does that somehow make the descenants guilty?
Feo often calls me a fake Scotsman but I've never pretended to be a Scotsman or Irishman. I do indeed have a lot of Scot and Irish ancestry through my red-headed mother, who had a red-headed mother, and mom also had two redhead sisters. Before my hair began going silver and beard going white, when I was in the sun you could see lots of red in my brown hair and my beard had lots of red.
(As an aside, my wife's great-grandparents were pure Scots from the Orkney Island and so would have so Viking blood! So when she performs in her kilt is she a fake Scotswoman?)
No, wearing Scot or Irish attire for performing with bagpipes is not pretendinfg to be either one.
But a real Christian wouldn't be continually harassing another believer on blog posts when asked many times to stop. His arrogance knows no bounds as he usually tries to post comments that have nothing to do with the article posted but it's all about forcing his ideology.

That's a rich outfit. Very classy indeed.

Yep, I'm wearing about $1000 there.
