A new “Christian” denomination, Liberation Methodist Connexion (LMX), is a denomination of Satan and not of Christ’s church.

Stay away from Lauren Daigle. She’s been on the heretic radar since she joined in with Ellen Degreneres in bashing Christian doctrines. Now she’s working with Mormons sharing her musical talents.

A woman “pastor” and “Holy Spirit Salsa Dancing.” Bethel is an abomination to the Lord.

Exorcism is a fraud perpetrated by the apostate Papist church.

False teacher Rick Warren is now promoting racism.

Beth Moore gets wackier by the day.

If you come across teachings by Henri Nouwen, stay away from them: they are poison. The article is a bit long, but that’s how one can get detailed with examinations.

We are in luck — Rome is giving a course on exorcism.  Hmm, why is it the Apostles didn’t need a course?  Sort of like charismatic courses in speaking in tongues.  H/T Doug.

In addition to news about Azusa, this article has information about a “Being Church” conference.  The only “church” in that conference is the church of Satan.

The original Azusa meetings came out of “The Holiness Movement.”

C.S.Lewis was one of the first apologists I read, and I like his thinking on a lot of apologetic issues; he actually has good teaching on Christian living and worldview.  As I matured in the faith I discovered that Lewis was not for the immature believer; after all, he promoted psychology and evolution, and had some real theological issues.  I still cite things from him now and then because in isolation from his bad theology they can sometimes be excellent thought-provokers, as with the one sentence I posted on 23 April (one commenter even questioned me about Lewis).  I came across an excellent article which sums up Lewis’ theological problems, which is why you will never see me cite him for theology!  I do wish the article addressed his evolutionism and promotion of psychobabble.

Today I will start with some links to information about Dallas Willard.  Yesterday I was asked by a retired pastor friend to get him some information about Willard, so I copied articles from some journals in my library, and then started to copy some teaching letters from Gary Gilley when I remembered that THOSE are on line!  So I went on line and printed out the articles much quicker than photocopying.  These articles are not just about Willard, but are about the whole “spiritual formation” movement in which Willard is a top figure.  So will see some other big names, such as Richard Foster, associated with these articles:

I was surprised to learn that a very secular source published an article by a pastor exposing the false teachings of Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer.  He does a good job of explaining some of their worst errors.

Another episode of “A.D.” was reviewed.  The series is definitely poison.

The “7 Unbiblical Statements Christians Believe” seem to be from Joel Osteen and his ilk.

Gee, the Vatican is having trouble keeping up with the demand for exorcisms.  Well, when you invent a problem and then teach it as dangerous to your followers, it should go without saying that there will be an explosion of that problem among your followers!

Here I am still busier than a one-armed wall-paper hanger, and still hoping to have time to continue my review of the book, New Age Bible Versions.  And I’m working as quickly as possible to get all my articles about Mormonism transferred over to my new “Anti-Mormon Blog,” while also adding “Random….” posts over there!  

I am still trying to keep up with the latest news about false teachings and false teachers so as to warn my readers about these things with these “Random” posts.  Meanwhile, I hope the quotes I have been posting here have been thought-provoking or edifying.  

I don’t visit “Christian” book stores much, because walking through them gets me riled up to see all the false and heretical teachings being sold as “Christian,” so I apparently missed that Joel Osteen, in collaboration with his wife Victoria, have their own Bible being published.  “Hope For Today Bible” features “Notes and Encouragement from Joel & Victoria Osteen.”  Just what we need — a Bible polluted with the Osteens’ poison.

I’ve previously reported on the new “Holy Ghost” movie and how unbiblical it is (of course).  I came across a YouTube video this week, which I recommend for your viewing, which has an excellent review of the movie.  It is 1 hr 36 minutes in length, but it would be well worth your while.  I was able to watch/listen to this review by keeping it in one corner of my desktop screen while I worked on other projects — that might be a good way for you to spend the time.

If you’ve never heard of Dr. Scott McQuate, be forewarned that he is a false teacher.  Earlier this year The Berean Call exposed some of his teachings, and a reader took issue with them.  The latest issue of TBC has a thorough response to the reader, with a good examination of McQuate’s teachings.

Beth Moore seems to never be out of the spotlight with her false teachings.  Her teaming up with Joyce Meyer is just one of the things which prove she doesn’t hear from God as she claims!  Erin Benziger has a bit more examining of Moore’s teachings.

Can anyone show me from Scripture where Christians are to have exorcism ministries?  OF course with the Pope blessing them, that’s just another example of the false teachings of Rome.

Rick Warren and Russell Moore are teaming with the Pope for an “interfaith conference.”  Can’t you just imaging Paul telling the Church to have “interfaith conferences” with the pagans of his day?

Mark Driscoll - again.  That guy just needs to grow up, have a serious repentance, and give up all ministry ideas.  As he plays the victim, he is a disgrace to the body of Christ.

Finally, one of the favorite claims of the LEFT, and liberal so-called “Christians,” is that Jesus was a socialist.  Stan puts this argument to rest.  (Beware when visiting his site — Stan is an ardent Calvinist!  But he often has some good teachings, and he seems to be an overall nice guy.)
