What about “migrants”—how many are illegally entering the nations?
No one has a right to have a “dream” so how can someone “scorn” what isn’t a right? Why did they leave a family behind? It was THEIR choice! What about the “dignity” of the people whose lives are destroyed by these “immigrants”? If they are illegally in the country, what about the Pope suggesting they obey the law as in Romans 13:1-7 and 1st Peter 2:13-17?

On Leo’s first quote, here’s a thought: Maybe the Vatican could draw upon its stores of vast wealth to give away to the poor he laments! (Hey, Leo, find a mirror in your luxurious living quarters and read your post out loud to yourself!)

The pope as Head of Christ's Church is entitled to more finance given his position of authority, so Lora's point isn't really all that good.

We don't care how much the Pope makes, our point is that he is bellyaching about a so-called injustice because some people are wealthy and others poor, and therefore he should put his money where his mouth is and use his own money to finance poor people.
The pope is not the “Head of Christ’s Church.” Jesus is the Head of His Church. The pope is the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Not the same thing. My point was that that institution sits on top of great riches that could go towards relieving poverty, if Leo truly wished for that.
