Islam is a violent, satanic religion with a goal to eradicate Jews and Christians specifically, as well as anyone else who isn’t Muslim. They want to conquer the world and yet this Pope is partnering with them in many ways. There can never be any communion between Christianity and Islam and yet the Pope is honoring Islam!!! Islam is a religion which should NEVER be given respect.
People in Europe who want to keep out Muslims are doing so because Muslim theology/ideology is violence and world dominion.
The Pope surely is not ignorant of the history of Islam, but he chooses to patronize Muslims—who are about as godless as it gets! By his actions, the Pope proves he is not a true Christian—he shakes hands with satan.

The pope is initiating dialogue with Muslims and you want to take us back to the days when most Christians and Muslims were indeed at each other's throats, horrible as that was. We should be moving forward, not backward, aiming for progress, not misunderstanding and perpetual conflict.

I didn't attack the Pope, I exposed him for what he is. I cited him and cited articles about him. Your name-calling at me only demonstrates you have no refutation of what I posted.
So why do you use the name "Arnold" for the first comment but change to "Anonymous" for the second?
I am a true Christian and not an idolatrous papist.
Man, I really wish that some guy with a PhD in this field of research would swoop down and give this fool the dressing down that he so richly deserves. Scathing language would definitely be justified here.

Hi Glenn, The July newsletter from Mike Gendron and Proclaiming the Gospel included this blurb, titled “Pope Calls Muslims Children of God””
In his recent visit to a Muslim Mosque in Algeria, Pope Leo called everyone “children of God.” Yet, the Word of God says otherwise. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12). Sonship is conditional. It requires receiving Christ by faith.
He also called the Grand Mosque of Algiers a “space that is of God, a divine, sacred space.” He said, people come here “to find the presence of the Most High.” Every doctrine that defines Christianity, including the divinity of Christ and His crucifixion and resurrection, is explicitly denied inside the building the Pope called “the space that is of God.” And yet Catholics believe the pope is the head of the church that Jesus purchased with His own blood (Acts 20:28).

I plan on doing a report on Popes and Islam. I believe that the Popes' love of Islam proves that they do not represent God.
That should be interesting, Glenn, and very eye-opening for many, I am sure. I know that I have been shocked to learn of the RC leaders’ strange tolerance of late for a religion that hates Jesus and His followers. Many years ago, a term was coined to represent a blended religion possibly coming in the end times--“Chrislam.” If that ends up truly happening, we can thank the popes in large part for it!
