We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea
Once you learn to discern, there's no going back. You will begin to spot the lie everywhere it appears.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service. 1 Timothy 1:12

Bits and Pieces

This will be my last post for a while because I’m working on a project to post at a later date.

Now, just a reminder about the Papist church: throughout at least 14th through 17th centuries the church executed (often after torture) those who denied Papist teachings. And yet that church claims to be the one Christ started and that they are the ones who have the truth. Yeh, I’m sure Christ would say torture and execute those who disagree with you.

Not about apologetics, but a thought-provoking article nevertheless.

Learn how to rebut people abusing Scripture to support illegal immigration. Even the Pope abuses it.

Protestor Gnosticism and Its New Apostles. Thought-provoking.

Exposing the False History of the WTBTS. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not really witnesses for Jehovah—they are just another cult of false teachings.

False teacher Paula White (unfortunately Pres.Trump advisor) claims to have seen God’s face. Wait a minute, doesn’t Exodus 33:20 say that no one can see God’s faith and live?

I’m going to no longer continue posting over and over about the same false teachers unless it’s something unusual. I think all my readers, and those who may find my blog, will be able to find a listed false teacher and learn everything one needs to know.

You're gradually shutting down your blog because you finally realize your grifting isn't getting you popular. Now go back to your den and get some sleep.

I just laugh when cowardly people like you make foolish comments. I didn't say I was shutting down. I said I'm no longer going to post on the same false teachers which I have too many posts about, and that I'm working on a project--one which is taking my time--which will be posted at a later date.

Now go back to your cradle and whine for milk.

This is still one of my go to blogs, and always will be, and I love the discernment articles.

Thank you, Anonymous 3/2, 2:05PM

The first anonymous commenter has made a few other comments I won't post because they are just snarky trolling, giving what he thinks is the reason for my fewer posts.

I long ago said I was going to slow down my ministry, which is why most of what I post nowadays are links to other sites. The main reason is time. Research time has become more fleeting due to many issues, one of which is being gone from home too many hours of the week while performing a daily ministry (apologetics is NOT my only ministry). Then medical visits have become more often, and practice time with pipes takes up a lot of time due to many funerals and graveside services I provide. This month has St. Patty's day which calls for pipes and other ceremonies during the next couple months.

I still have faithful readers and will often get emails instead of comments on the posts. The information I provide about false teachers and teachings assists people to avoid them and to understand truth.
