The apostasy is just getting worse by the day, as too many places in Scripture predict. There are a lot of teachers, teachings, and groups which need to be marked and avoided. This post will link to articles of exposing some of the worst — worst because they are sucking in too many non-discerning people.
Jennifer LeClaire proves how hypocritical false teachers can be.
Oh the stunts some churches will go through to be “relevant.”
Proof that followers of Benny Hinn are biblically ignorant and are nothing more than a cult.
The Pope’s false and demonic teachings. He also needs to mind his own business and quit preaching gun-control.
You know a song has to be bad for Christianity Today Astray to pan it.
Dangerous false teachers seem to multiply on a daily basis to where I can’t keep up with who’s who! I just learned of a new whack-a-doodle this week, Ryan LeStrange. Avoid him like the plague.
Bill Hybels and Willow Creek. Mega Churches seem to often lead to star mentality by the pastor, which leads to all sorts of sins. But Willow Creek has never been a place real Christians should attend. You’ll notice in the list of elders who signed the statement that there are women, violating the command against women in authority in the Church. Just one of many false and aberrant teachings from Willow Creek over past few decades. But as for Mega Church star teachers falling, Hybels isn’t alone. (H/T to Doug Evans)
Andy Stanley continues to prove why he is not qualified to be a pastor.
The Episcopal Church continues their spiral to hell.
Beth Moore whines about her treatment by men, but it appears to me it is not about misogyny as she claims, rather, those who snub her are probably sick of her false teachings and putting herself up as a “leader in the conservative Evangelical world.” She is not only a false teacher, but she continues to put herself in a position of teaching authority over men. Perhaps she feels all her “direct revelations from God” allows her to disregard what the Bible actually teaches. This response to her is right on track.
The humorous
Joel Osteen would probably do this!

Hi Glenn,
It's Carolyn. I haven't posted in a quite some time, and am doing less online these days. I still stop by here from time to time and read, as I do with some other blogs, just to keep abreast of church issues.
Regarding Hybels, I did want to toss in that one of the articles that was posted recently quoted him as having been comfortable from the very beginning with the idea of women in leadership. So it is not surprising that WC has women elders. WC now even has a female "senior pastor" - Heather Larson. You're correct, that "church" is nowhere a true born again Christian should be.
When a pastor and an elder board (and I mean MALE elders and pastor) are ok with women teaching men or women leading men, you have a big, big problem.
Hope you and Jill are well.

Hi Carolyn,
Good to hear from you!
Yes, I was aware of the leadership and women from many, many years ago. Which is why I've condemned that place from the beginning.
I have learned that every single assembly which has put women in leadership positions goes apostate. It's inevitable. Look at the horrid mess full denominations have gotten in to with women leaders: PCUSA, ELCA, Episcopal Church, United Methodists, United Church of Christ, etc. They are all full-blown apostate and heretical.
Hi Glenn,
On WC, yes, just like Saddleback, same problem, of unbiblical views from the start.
"I have learned that every single assembly which has put women in leadership positions goes apostate. It's inevitable."
Couldn't have said it better.
We just said that same concept recently to an elder board, that the trajectory of any assembly which starts allowing women to teach and lead a mixed congregation in any capacity will eventually end up destroyed. The devil gets his toe in, and then by increment, ruins the assembly. Usually after lulling everyone to sleep, and aggressively chasing out those with discernment.
As per usual, our comments were not heeded by most in the room, including the senior pastor, but we saw a few individuals who nodded in agreement with us. Not enough we fear to right the wrong.

Have you heard of Lois Vogel-Sharp? She has you tubes where says God speaks directly to her - woke her up at 2 a.m. one morning to give her a prophecy. She writes pages and pages of stuff - a lot about the coming destruction.
But... she is building a safe haven in upper state New York with bunkers so you have a place to go. Keep those donations coming. The safe haven is free, but the funds have to come from somewhere to build this save have - the funds will come from you freely giving!!
I think she is preying on people's fears to send her money. She twists scripture. She says Isaiah 26:20-22 is proof that people need to come to her safe haven.
Anonymous,
Nope, never heard of her. Sounds like someone to avoid!
she is indeed very dangerous!
Can someone explain why she is dangerous.
Seeking,
Anyone who claims God is speaking directly to them is dangerous. That is how every cult gets started, and how most false teachings get started. The teachings described in the above comment should be enough to tell you the person is one to avoid.
"Anyone who claims God is speaking directly to them is dangerous."
Would that include Moses? Isaiah? Daniel? Jesus? just to name a few...
Anonymous,
How about the context of current times?
And how about the fact that those you noted were bonafide prophets of God. These current people who "hear from God" always have false teachings.
She wants people to sell their homes and give her the money for her safe haven. She has a real safe haven - God told her. You sell your home, give her the money and everyone lives there off the land and contributes also with their skills. Reminds me of Jim Jones.
Lois Vogel says we are in the tribulation with the 3rd seal broken on 12.4.18. They have no safe haven built at this time. Just collecting money from people. If the tribulation is 7 years how are they going to build a community with garden and bunkers in time?
Bunkers? Yes, she said they were building bunkers, too.
But it's a safe haven. Why the need for bunkers?
She said if you don't go to her safe haven then you're on your own finding another one. Wow. That's cold. She says there are others out there but isn't going to help you?
This woman is a piece of work.
Anonymous,
Definitely one to be avoided!
Well, she is also using Bo Polny, a known scam artist and market newsletter writer, to support her predictions of a coming stock market crash. Just Google Bo Polny and scammer and you will see how many times this guy predicted a 50% stock crash over the past 10 years which hasn't happened yet.
Unknown,
Can you please explain who you are writing about, and what in the world you mean?
