Worship Music--Think About It

  1. Amen! Once you've seen the monster of heresy, you can't un-see it anymore. The real problem is trying to help your fellow believer to take their blinders off.

  2. Hi Glenn,

I agree with Justin Peters except his last statement... The greatest spiritual danger isn't from "those who profess to be inside of the faith" (ie: wolves in sheep's clothing).

The greatest spiritual danger is from those who actually ARE inside the faith (ie: genuine believers), but who are *undiscerning* (especially when they are in a position of authority or influence, such as a pastor), who *import those wolves into the flock and give them credibility*, and then beat down the discerning believers who are trying to sound the alarm.

And yes - sometimes the leaders themselves are wolves. But we've seen genuine believing leaders import false teachers (or practices) into the church, many, many times. And yes, those with discernment are mollified or even get the "left foot of fellowship" when we try to object.

We're being picked off by friendly fire!
