Did They Really Say That?!?

Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifs of eternal salvation…

Catechism of the Catholic Church, para 969.

I wonder where they find this in the Bible? Mary never had any “saving office,” nor gave us the “gift of eternal salvation,” nor can she; only Jesus Christ did/does that.  The Bible never even intimates that Mary was “Taken up to heaven,” rather she, like everyone, eventually died.  There is also nothing in the Bible which says Mary intercedes for anyone.  All this is made up out whole cloth by Romanist popes.
