Idolatry seems to be the thing at Steven Furtick’s Elevation Church (by 1 Nov they made the video private - too embarrassed, I suppose). Furtick is a goatherd heretic, and these goats worship him! And he has a coloring book for the kids with some real propaganda!
God is unable to condemn?!? Another proof that the Pope is a minion of the devil. Loving does not negate condemnation.

My husband and I once visited a church that was an offshoot of a larger area assembly. We didn't know they were operating it as a multi-site; we thought they had their own pastoral staff. Sadly, we were mistaken. When one entered, one was greeted by a man on a video screen. The sermon was also via video. The only "live" part they had there was the "praise band" of teenagers, grinding away on their axes, of course. We were so put off by not having a REAL pastor there, that we left very early into the service.
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree, multi-site is idolatry. Of course, there is such a cult of personality problem in the church today, that it seems even in "independent" churches, most people are following celebrity preachers, instead of having individual assemblies led by the Holy Spirit.
