Show Me!

It does not matter in the least who says a thing — whether he is a bishop, archdeacon, dean, or presbyter.  It does not matter that the thing is well expressed, said eloquently, attractively, forcibly, and in such a way as to turn the laugh against you.  We are not to believe it unless it is proved to us by Holy Scripture.

  1. Good quote here, Glen. It reminds me of all of those men of God who preached Jesus Christ and Him crucified and risen from the dead for our wretched sins....and they all considered themselves not worthy, nor eloquent in speech, but rather defective.

And they turned the whole world upside down with the preaching of the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Oh, how Great is our God!
