Good, Bad and Ugly Stuff

Are the Genesis Genealogies Mostly Gaps?  In a word, NO! The genealogies are 100% accurate so don’t listen to Hugh Ross.

Archaeology is sometimes an excellent apologetics source.

The Truth About Tithing. Then Tithing myths. I have long said that the tithe is not for the Christian.

Go figure: a politician claiming to Catholic but goes against every moral stance of the Catholic Church and then continues to take communion after being excommunicated. Next question is why the priests knowingly still allows that?

Ohhh, the feminist view of the David/Bathsheba relationship and its promotion by Sean McDowell.

You Will Not Believe The Latest Charismatic Scam From Ron Carpenter. I’ve never heard of this guy, but everyone should take notice to stay away from him!!!

Is Todd White a False Teacher? Definitely, as I have noted in many posts. This article has a good review of his teachings.

The Church of England long ago went apostate, so is this really surprising?

Marcus Rogers—Why do people listen to and follow such false teachers!?!

Beloved deception: “God Calling” spiritually influenced “Jesus Calling” and Alcoholics  Anonymous.

A Presbyterian woman "Pastor" supports abortion up to birth.

Here we have three “religious” leaders: Presbyterian pastor (PCUSA probably), a woman “Baptist Minister” and Jewish cantor bless an abortion clinic. These people are definitely hell-bound. Check out the evil organization.

  1. Archeology can be an "excellent" tool for apologetics, except when it contradicts the Bible. Then, you throw that discipline out the window. I can give specific examples if you are interested.

  2. REAL archeology only deals with fact, but that which based on evolutionist ideas can never be trusted.

  3. Um, I was talking about "real archeology" (even though every scientist living on the planet today will tell you Darwinism is real). Two examples of historically inaccurate claims (known beyond reasonable doubt) made by the Christian Jewish Scriptures would be to do with Luke's census and the number of people crossing over during the exodus from Egypt.

  4. Okay, troll Tyler<
FIRST, "real archaelogy" does not use evolutionist dates. Second, your claim about every scientist saying Darwinism is real is a bald-faced lie and you know it. Lastly, you have no evidence, nor is there any, regarding your claim about Luke, etc.
Troll elsewhere--you've had your fun here for the last time.

  5. Hello Glenn, I just got home from a 2-hour lunch with 4 Christian women in a newly formed care group affiliated with the (Baptist) church I attend. As a parting gift, our new leader gave each of us a copy of “Jesus Always”, a devotional book by Sarah Young, copyright 2016. Then she told us how wonderful the book 90(?) minutes in heaven was. I amheartbroken and rushed home to open your blog and get some more discernment from you. Now what do I do? Do I tell her I’ve already thrown away a copy of Jesus Calling? Thank you so much for the wisdom I read in your blog. The wolves are always active, aren’t they!

  6. Hi Anonymous,
You might get a chance to tell everyone that you can't read the book because you know it has false teachings. And if they ask for evidence, I believe I have some examples on this blog--otherwise I can get you some.

  7. Hello Glenn, I just wanted to let you know that I ordered copies from Lighthousetrails of their rebuttal to “Jesus Calling.” I hope to give it to my friend and have a conversation with her about it. I didn’t realize my previous note to you was “anonymous”, sorry I didn’t catch that. Many thanks again for your wonderful ministry. I have learned so much good, truthful information from you. Keep up the good work, and may God continue to bless you and your family.

  8. Hi Mary,
I think you are doing the right thing and I'd be interested in knowing how it all turns out.
    Blessing to you too!
