Some interesting articles I’ve read recently, with some good information.
A wolf in the house: 18 signs of apostasy in the assembly.
Biblically sound blogs by women. Looks like with some you might encounter TULIPs, so use discernment.
The early church vs Rome. Good, short study.
Five ways Christians should judge.
No, Saul did not become Paul — he was both all the time.
Whilst I totally understand and comprehend what was written about Giving up Lent, I fear that there is precious little teaching in virtually any modern church community about fasting (which Jesus assumed we would do, with specific instructions on how to) and gluttony and the worship of food, which, I would suggest, is one of the most unrecognised of sins within Western Society.
ReplyDeleteRufus,
ReplyDeleteNowhere in Scripture is fasting mandated.
I whole-heartedly agree with you about gluttony and the worship of food! Never hear it spoken against.
