Then I discovered his participation in the Pensacola (Brownsville) Revival where he was one of the wackadoodles. And then I had all his answering Jews books which are very good,

But he has absolutely NO discernment when it comes to false teachings.Glenn E. On the ...I have mixed feelings about Michael Brown. On the plus side he is clearly a very brilliant man with a great amount of learning, and a lot of what he says and writes about is really good stuff. His 5 or 6 volumes on answering Jewish objections to Jesus are excellent and highly recommended, as are his books on Christianity and homosexuality. He also seems like quite a nice guy (his debates with James White on calvinism and cessationism were both very cordial brotherly discussions). BUT, when it comes to talking about the cooks and crackpots in the charismatic movement a switch seems to flip in his mind, all the rational thought and biblical learning goes out the window and he tries to excuse or ignore the blatant false teachings of people like Paula White, Heidi Baker etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
