One church just gave me a curt, no, they don't following Bethel teaching. Another one said, oh good question I will as the senior pastor about that. I never heard anything. My neighbor works at a local church and occasionally I'll ask her about their support of the rock star claiming to turn to Jesus but he's doing the Bethel drunk in the spirit stuff and she'll at me like she doesn't understand what I'm saying. It's really weird. There's a lot of strangeness going on today. Seems like most churches across the nation play their music along with Hillsong and Elevation. It's kinda creepy actually. Thanks for discussing it. Helps me feel like I'm not so alone. My husband and I were never fans of either of them (they just "bothered" us for some reason...), but over the years, we have had many solid Reformed friends who eagerly promoted and followed both. We are now praying they see the serious issues with both and are avoiding them.

-CarolynAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
