We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum. A.W. Tozer
Therefore let God-inspired Scripture decide between us; and on whichever side be found doctrines in harmony with the word of God, in favor of that side will be cast the vote of truth. --Basil of Caesarea

Good, Bad, and Ugly

The Good:
Did Jesus Approve of Homosexuality? The answer is, of course, no he did not. Be sure to read the 5 sermons by Pastor Don Green to which this article links.

A great article debunking the whole Mariolatry of the Roman Catholic Church.

Good, concise analysis of “The Message.”

I’ve known that “Holy Ghost” in old English (e.g., KJV) wasn’t as accurate as “Holy Spirit,” but I never knew why.  Now I know!

Great reference source to articles about the KJV Only movement.

The Bad and/or Ugly
The Pope really, really needs to butt out of politics/social gospel and stick to his RCC, which needs a whole lot of correction and cleaning up! The “migrants” are an invading army — PERIOD!

Roman Catholic colleges need to be held accountable by the Roman Catholic Church. Having perversions as entertainment SHOULD go against Catholic teachings.

You can’t make this stuff up!

And you can’t make this stuff up, either!

Nor can you make this stuff up.

The previous three examples are what the apostate “church” looks like. They are not Christian assemblies, and their leaders are satanic wolves.

Then there are the many “churches” who decide to be part of the world for Halloween. Instead of just ignoring the day they have to behave as everyone else!  While reading this article, take a look at what the Church by the Glades has been preaching on— proving again that it is not a church of Christ, but rather a goat-pen for the ignorant. (A closer look at Church by the Glades and their satanic celebration can be found here.)

The abject heresy of the Anglican Church; an Imam preaching a sermon.

Please educate yourself in God’s Word, and use discernment.  The devil is certainly prowling for your loyalty.

Angry Catholic,

I'm not posting your comment because it violates my comment rules by ad hominem attacks.

However, MacArthur is 100% correct. Catholics deny worshiping Mary but actions speak louder than words. "Veneration" is a bogus excuse. When Mary is treated as omniscient, sinless, omnipresent, mediator and even "co-redemptrix," then that is worship. My article about the Papist Mary proves she is worshipped. I fully understand what the Papist church claims (as Beaumont states) but those explanations are bogus. ACTIONS and BELIEFS prove it is worship.

If you looked at the comments on Beaumont’s post, you’d see I am the first commenter and refute him.

Be angry all you want, but you need to leave Rome if you want to be truly saved by the Biblical Jesus.

Angry Catholic,

You again are being moderated out.

You continue to demonstrate your foolishness and ignorance and your Papist ideology. Please stop wasting your time trying to comment. My research is just fine and my integrity is solid. COWARDS post anonymously.

I have yet to find any inaccuracies on the Rational Christian blog which weren’t corrected when brought to the author’s attention. He always notes citations, so you apparently aren’t paying attention and are bearing false witness. I find his writing style to be just fine. Citations are not plagiarism. His citations from my Thought-Provoker blog are posted with my permission so you again don’t know what you are whining about.

We do not hate Jesus’ mother Mary; we give her proper respect for who she was. YOU and your ilk worship her like a god.

This is the last comment of yours which will be responded to before deleting from moderation, only to demonstrate that it is YOU who are the liar with false accusations. Your eternal destiny is hell if you don’t leave your Papist church.

Not to be argumentative, but I never saw it as worship...but that's mostly because I had a problem with praying to her in the first place. In other words, because praying to anyone but God is not only wrong, but actually unnecessary, I just never got around to worshiping anyone else. But, haven't been a Catholic for many, many years, yet still don't reject them as Christians. That's just me.

Hi Glenn,

Interesting article on the use of "Holy Ghost" vs. "Holy Spirit". That makes a lot of sense! However, it makes the doxology "Praise God from whom all blessings flow" a little harder to sing though, eh? :)

Hope your angry commenter calms down and takes some time to reconsider the articles you posted, especially the Scripture citations. When we believe and trust Scripture alone, the confusion over Mary is easily corrected. I was angry once, too, though I am not sure I ever believed any of the Catholic misteachings about Mary. Nonetheless, God had to deal with me fairly forcefully before I turned from my sin and trusted in Christ alone. As the old hymn goes, amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I one was lost, but now I'm found, was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the *hour* I first believed.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Art,

There are indeed Christians in the RCC because there is enough truth there, but the vast majority of Catholics are just Catholics and not Christians.

Carolyn,
You'd get a chuckle out of the nonsense spewed by the "angry Catholic." Everything I post about Catholics is untrue according to him, and I just don't understand Catholic teachings. I'm also a false teacher who hates Mary.

HE also rabidly attacked another blog which has a lot of anti-Catholic articles -- and all of them are 100% accurate!
